Livelihoods Improvement of Urban Poor Communities Project has been strengthening the marginalised people and the poor communities to lift people out of extreme poverty. Amitabh Bose, Mayor, Faridpur Paurashava, says the LIUPC project equips the community, especially women, with skills that enable them to graduate from the poverty that holds them in slums.
