British High Commissioner visits the Plastic Waste Management Project in Narayanganj with UNDP and Unilever
Plastic pollution is one of the most pressing environmental challenges around the world and Bangladesh is no exception. The British High Commissioner to Dhaka recently travelled to the Plastic Waste Management Project supported by Unilever and UNDP in Narayanganj City Corporation. The project, which also effectively utilises the UK Government-supported NUPRP platform, has successfully explored models to promote the circularity of plastic waste and UNDP hopes to scale up across more cities nationwide.
