#Leave No One Behind

Being a star performer at MDGs achievement, the GoB placed high level commitment to attain Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and targets. The five interrelated components would contribute to SDG Targets, particularly SDG-1, (No Poverty), SDG-6, (Water and Sanitation), SDG-11 (Sustainable Cities & Communities) and SDG-13 (Climate Action). The LIUPCP through its five objectives thus designed to reach first the unserved and underserved population in urban areas up to 36 cities and towns in Bangladesh. The programme components would involve at least nine goals and help achieving more than fifty targets through improvement in the livelihoods and living conditions of low income people living in cities and towns during the project’s implementation period. PROJECT would boost Government of Bangladesh’s efforts to achieve targets set out in the Global Goals that call for ‘leaving no one behind’.
