Livelihoods Improvement of Urban Poor Communities Project.

As emergency response rolled out by Livelihoods Improvement of Urban Poor Communities Project (LIUPCP) to protect 2.16m urban poor from #COVID19, persons with disability and vulnerable groups were targeted with special focus. Now the beneficiaries speak up! #LIUPCP also known as #NUPRP has distributed 2.2 million soaps & installed 2500 hand-washing stations at different locations in 20 City Corporations and Paurashavas. Lifesaving messages are being disseminated through different media. Thanks to UK in Bangladesh Department for International Development (DFID) for their generous support under Livelihoods Improvement of Urban Poor Communities project being implemented by Local Government Division (LGD and United Nations Development Programme in Bangladesh .
