LIUPCP brings solutions to urban challenges: GCC Mayor

Gazipur City Corporation is the home for millions of people with thousands of garment factories and different industries. People from across Bangladesh have thronged to this city in search of economic opportunities. In the shadows of opportunities, many people are facing challenges of rapid urbanization. According to Mohammad Zahangir Alam, Mayor, Gazipur City Corporation, Livelihoods Improvement of Urban Poor Communities Project (LIUPCP) has brought solutions to urban challenges benefitting the poor and improving their living conditions in many ways.
